Welcome Welcome

Welcome to the RTMA/URMA VLab group!

The purpose of this group is to facilitate feedback and discussion on the RTMA/URMA system.  Use the tabs above to learn more about the system or use the forum to post feedback or ask questions.

Users may also be interested in the National Blend of Models VLab community.

There are two ways to submit feedback to the RTMA/URMA development team:

1) Send an email to rtma.feedback.vlab@noaa.gov.  Your email will post to the forum linked above.  Subscribers to the forum will receive an email with your feedback.

2) Post directly to the forum.  To post feedback, click on the link "Forum" above.  Then click on "Post New Thread."  Subscribers to the forum will receive an email with your feedback.

Subscribers include all of the RTMA/URMA developers, as well as some senior staff at EMC.  Members of the RAP/HRRR development team at ESRL are also subscribers, since the RAP and HRRR are a major input to RTMA/URMA.

NOTE: Many email threads from our old listserv (aor-rtma@infolist.nws.noaa.gov) are also posted in the VLab forum.  We hope the archive will help you get a feel for the type of feedback we've been getting and get an idea for what the systems strengths and weaknesses are.
