VLab User Training

1. VLab Fundamentals for Users (Jul 2018)
   • Training in CLC: 30min overview of VLab for all VLab users (speaker notes PDF)
     • Non-CLC users training link (Internet)
   • VLab Jobsheet: Getting Started with VLab Communities (for VLab users)  
     • walks new users through logging in; identifying Communities, Projects, NOAA Projects Registry, and some of the NWS collaborative spaces; joining a VLab Community

VLab Focal Point Training

1. VLab Community Management I and II (Mar 31, 2020)
   • Training in CLC: This two-part training (45min each; 1.5hrs total) provides VLab Community owners and contributors with the fundamental training required to manage a VLab community and develop content in VLab (speaker notes 1 and speaker notes 2). 
     • NWS users should use CLC curriculum, "VLab Community Management Curriculum", containing pre-requisite user training and the two focal point modules
     • Non-CLC users (non NWS) training link 1 and training link 2 (Internet)
   • VLab Jobsheets:
     • Initial login and managing users/roles
     • Upload content
     • Creating/displaying web content
     • Creating a team

Other VLab-Related Training and References

The AWIPS Interactive Reference (AIR) provides right-click access to VLab content from D2D product legends. The previously released AIR training and references are being updated with the latest version of VLab and are anticipated to be available in Apr 2020.
